FAQ’s

How much would it cost to clean a house?

That’s a great question! We like to perform in home estimates for all new clients and base the price on several individual factors.  Typically, but not exclusively, this includes the size of the home, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, any pets and then frequency of the cleanings.  A good example might be a 2,500 square foot house with 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms on an every 2 week cycle, this would approximately be $150 to $180 per cleaning depending on family size and any pets.

If I give you my keys how are the protected?

Your key is coded and will be stored with a blind system in a locked key storage box. The day of your scheduled cleaning, your key is matched to your cleaning number.  At the end of the day, the team leader returns all keys to management for security. Your name or address will never be indicated on the key.

Will I always have the same Cleaning Tech?

We make every effort to send the same team each and every time. Occasionally there may be a change due to illness, days off or staff holidays, therefore it is not possible for us to guarantee the same individuals for each cleaning however we endeavor to provide the same team wherever and whenever possible. The Highland Cleaning Company provides an extensive Core Training Program to each of our employees to ensure consistent cleaning and quality throughout all our teams.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my cleaning?

If it is necessary to cancel or reschedule your regular cleaning day, The Highland Cleaning Company requires a 1-business day notice. If we receive less than a 1-business day notice, or can’t access your home, it will be necessary for us to charge a $45 cancellation / reschedule fee. Future scheduled cleanings will remain unchanged. We ask that any changes to your schedule be communicated directly with The Highland Cleaning Company office.

What if I’m not satisfied with something?

With our satisfaction GUARANTEE if you are not satisfied with your cleaning, please contact us within 24 hours so that we may make arrangements to re-clean whatever is in question at no additional charge. Feedback and communication is key to our partnership with you and we are here if you have any feedback or comments to make your service better.

How do I pay?

We accept all major credit cards and can keep these details securely on file.  We also accept check and cash.  You can also pay online via our website.

What about special offers?

New clients receive 10% off Deep Cleaning Services booked and this will be applied at the time of invoice.  When a promotion is running for 20% off, this discount will be applied to recurring cleanings booked and will be divided across the next 2 services.  Any questions on this please ask for further details.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes, and they make a perfect gift for almost any occasion and we can combine that with a gift wrapped Highland Candle Company candle, making the gift a little more personal and fun. Gift Certificate’s are available in any amount and can be used for recurring service or a one time only clean, just call or email for details.

Are The Highland Cleaning Company Team bonded and insured?

Yes, we are bonded and also have a $1,000,000 liability insurance policy with Hissox and carry workers’ compensation insurance. All our team have had a full background check, references received and E verified for your protection and ours.
